I played there on Sunday 17 January 2004, and as it was dry in the area, this obviously had an effect on both greens and fairways. I played alone with an excellent caddie, and had a most enjoyable morning of golf. The fairways are taking a hammering because of the drought, but placing is allowed and therefore not a problem. The rough are not that difficult, because of the lack of water but tricky. The course almost has a links feel to it and for R60 was real value for money. I found the greens very much to my liking as I had the lowest puts statistic for 18 holes ever.
