LOCAL RULES
1. OUT OF BOUNDS (RULE 27-1) 1.1 Beyond the boundary fences of the course. (The 1st and 2nd nine are separate entities and play is not permitted from one nine to the other.) 1.2 All boundary fences are an integral part of the course. 1.3 Beyond the white stakes behind the 14th green, and the car park fence to the left on the 18th hole. 1.4 The car park club house, bowling green, greenkeepers workshop, areas demarcated by white stake and bricks.
2. GROUND UNDER REPAIR (RULE 25) 2.1 As defined in the rules of golf and any area ringed in white or marked with a GUR sign. 2.2 Trees marked with a white stake. 2.3 Embedded rocks. 2.4 Greenkeeper's roads. 2.5 Flower beds. Compulsory free drop at the nearest point of relief.
3. WATER HAZARDS (RULE 26) Hole 15, 16 & 17 are lateral hazards designated by red stakes. hole 9 & 18 has a compulsory drop zone.
4. FIXED SPRINKLER HEADS All fixed sprinkler heads are immovable obstructions and relief from interference by them may be obtained under rule 24-2.
5. ALTERATIONS TO LOCAL RULES Any additions or alterations to these local rules will be posted on the official notice board and in the Pro Shop.
6. DISTANCE MAKERS All ldistance markers are measured to the centre of the green. (Meters) White Flag (Pin at front of green) Yellow Flag (Pin in middle of green) Red Flag (Pin at back of green)
7. PLACING Mark the ball, replace any play. (When ball is replaced, it is in play).
8. COURSE ETIQUETTE All players are requested to read, observe, practise and adhere to the DRESS CODE, ETIQUETTE and rules of golf.
